Nah. A murderer for example, is someone who is a rapist, a child molester, kills a guy for a few bucks, pushes drugs into schools, kills for the thrill, or scams people out of every penny they have.

A killer is someone who finds all of the above and pulls the trigger in their faces. Which one are you?

Some blue asshole punched me in the face and then his Warden put me there. It was fucking over before the Warden even showed up!

Welcome to the Barge's so-called justice system. The good news is, being stuck in there is more of a timeout than anything else.

A week at most. You can sit on your ass all day and twiddle your thumbs. They don't make you do the hard work like they do at a real prison.

[Instead of responding over the network, Jason responds in person. He looks like he's somewhere in his late teens, early twenties. Scruff can been seen all across his jaw. The past couple of days haven't been good for him. There's a disturbing look in his eyes, like he's not all there. While he has control of himself, it wouldn't take much to cause him to snap.]

[Inside his cell in Level Zero, Chris sits up on the floor with his back against the wall, drumming gloved fingers anxiously over his knee in an attempt to keep from freaking out. He's never been in prison before, and the solitude is starting to get under his skin. Further, he hasn't had a chance to change out of his costume in the last 24 hours, and the eyeliner is smeared across his face where he took a few punches courtesy of Megamind.

Chris is younger; seventeen, and scrawny. A pretender if ever one existed.

He glances up, immediately shutting off his communicator to hurry over]

Hey! You didn't have to come down here, man.

[Smirks to himself as he looks the teen over. Then he shrugs his shoulders at Chris' response.]

It's fine. [Needs a few minutes to figure out what he's going to do to David Cain. A quick, instant death isn't good enough for him. Killing him isn't an option either, because then he'll come back and be fine in a few days. No, he wants to do something to leave a lasting impression.]

You said a blue guy hit you, right? [Eyes his face.] Does have a ridiculous, huge head, and spouts even more ridiculous bullshit?

Yeah. Yeah, that's the one. "Megamind." I'm not even kidding, I couldn't think of a name dumber than that.

I'm guessing you don't have keys.

Nah, only Wardens do. [Shakes his head at the mention of Megamind and rolls his eyes.]

I'll let you in on a couple of fun facts. The first being to ignore that dumbass. The guy rambles on so much I swear he must get off on the sound of his own voice. The second is that everyone here who is an Inmate with some kind of special ability has had it restricted in some way. Unless their Warden decides they are being responsible. So if they fuck up, it will probably be restricted again. Guess what that means.

It means that the Inmate's sucking the Warden's dick just to get their own goddamn powers back.

[Laughs and it's just a little off kilter.]

Yeah, there is that. It's also good news for regular humans. My abilities haven't been restricted in anyway because I'm all human. I've trained in a whole lot of things. You're looking at a guy who trekked across multiple universes, and kicked all kinds of alien ass with his bare fists.

[Donna and Kyle were there with him, but he was still able to hold his own.]

Dude, that is the most badass thing I have ever heard in my life. I respect that. Shit, I bet you could beat up any number of these fuckers without even trying!

For those who can get the jump on me because they have had their powers unrestricted or they are a Warden? If they become a problem then I'll find a way under their skin. If they beat the shit out of me because I ran my mouth, there are going to be consequences. There are some Wardens here who actually give a fuck about their job, so they'd want to make sure there are consequences. I'm good with a few broken bones that'll heal up quickly thanks to the special medical equipment they have here, if it means getting someone's powers restricted, or a Warden being demoted.
